Several good arrivals today 588 Berliet Gak Beverage Lorry
810 Command Car
I recently bought an Atlas Dinky Saviem Horse Transporter thinking I'd never be able to afford an original version. However whilst the reedition was on its way to me I managed to find an original with free shipping for less than the price of the Atlas. Result!! Comparative photo's below
The original has the slightly larger back card

Thanks for the comments! The Postman / courier has been kind to me today, a direct result of my splurge a couple of weeks ago. Several more arrivals added to the display shelves today. Ford Capri in early XL colour scheme of bronze / black accents - local purchase two days ago.
Boxed 32E Berliet Fire Truck - Aftermarket ladder soon to be added
Boxed 36A Willeme Logging Truck
Cheers Dave 146

Kind regards, Rob ' Hello Rob I was intending acknowledging your wonderful acquisition when your post was swamped with comments and another with new acquisitions. So I decided to add my post by quoting yours together with its fine pictures! (Which I reduced in size a little!) That Oldsmobile must have cost you an arm and both legs! I am extremely envious! It may not be mint as you wrote, but it is close enough to that, with a nice color combination as well. Now that my Terex days are drawing to a close, hopefully I can save up for one of those u-beaut 39 series in US colours, woops, wrong spelling when discussing US models, colors!! Kind regards Bruce (150) #589

Hi Bruce, Thanks for your reaction, the Oldsmobile was US 405,-. Not too much in my opinion. I have seen these US colors sell for much more. I was lucky, I guess... Kind regards, Rob

Rob--I think you got a very good deal on that Oldsmobile; I have seen other versions of those two-tone 39 series sell for twice that, and yours is in very nice condition.....very nice!

Hi Ron and Jan, Very nice to see the different baseplates on the military export models. And the condition of your latest acquisition, Ron, is superb! Friday the light blue 36c Humber and 36d Rover arrived. One of the few bright colours on the 36 series post war.
A picture of my 36 series in light blue. Complete, apart from 36f British Salmson 4 seater. I have never seen a 36f in light blue, but perhaps it is out there... Kind regards, Rob

Ron, Rob, & Jan All very nice additions! Rob, I really like that light blue color and you are quite right in that most of those post-war 36 series colors tend to be darker.....very nice! Regards, Terry

I've had a couple of new arrivals recently, and both were the French Buick Roadmaster. I already had a salmon and black version, bought in 1959 directly from the French factory (after H.Hudson Dobson said we could not do that!) So the next one is the butter yellow with dark green roof, then more recently the light blue with cream roof. In my opinion, this was one of the very best castings that the French factory every produced, with superb detail and painting....the front grill alone is just wonderful! Regards,Terry The earlier salmon and black Roadmaster
Next was the butter yellow and dark green Roadmaster
And most recently the light blue and cream Roadmaster
And finally, all three Roadmaster's together.........
