Sorry to disappoint you (and myself), John. I would also have appreciated to meet you. This year, after having attended all 11 AGM's since the first in 2007, I had to give priority to a little annual trip with my brother and sister, this time a pilgrimage to Liverpool, as we all agreed. Two flights to Britain in such a short time span would be too much. it's my intention to be present in Derby next year again. You will no doubt like meeting the other guys! Kind regards, Jan

Hi all, Finally I was able to complete my set of trade boxes for the pre war 28 series Vans. The 28-1 was the most difficult to find, but it arrived yesterday in a pile of other trade boxes. I am very pleased with it. It will be a challenge to fill all three. The 28-3 is full, the 28-2 contains two models and it will be difficult to find these models without too much fatigue. The 28-1 contains two models and budget and availability limits the possibilities to fill it further. I will try though. Kind regards, Rob

Arrived today, the French no. 25m (Studebaker) Benne basculante, in very dark green and metallic grey, made 1949-1954. This one the later type 2 cab version, with more square, better finished, front windows, from end 1951 on. Kind regards, Jan

Hi everyone. This morning my post-woman gave me a post-van !! A Citron 2cv in post livery ! I already had one, but with many paint chips and I wanted to improve my cabinet !! The surprise is that, in fact, it is a variation of my old one ! So I have to keep both !! Kind regards Richard

Arrivals this week ... (AA box almost certainly a repro) ... and with space reserved for two buses I haven't received yet, I'm officially out of space. (Already there's no room for the AA set!)

Thank you, Jan! Meantime the postlady surprised me today with two more parcels, one from the Netherlands and one from the UK. Obviously the vans are repaints, but I fell for their charm and patina, and they were low-cost. (No room to display them anywhere, though -- arrrgh.) The Atlantean has come out looking rather gray in the photo, but it is the white version ... I have one more Dinky on the way to me, and given my track record it would be rash to say it's my last-ever. But unless I somehow can obtain yet another original Dinky shop display, I might just be done ...

No vintage diecast this time, but no less happy, on the contrary: this morning a first copy of my new catalogue supplement (2017) arrived from the printer. I finished editing on the 4th of June and now, after some weeks of mutual feed back in between, they printed and bound this first tangible copy for me. Hard cover, size 24,5 x 17,5 cm, 71 pages (overall catalogue pages 1025-1095), 128 illustrations, 35 acquisitions described. Always an exciting moment to check if everything went right. And it did!
