Oooh that is really nice. I have a small, but growing, collection of the grey trade packs - I will show some when I get the time. Jan, like me, has a love affair with the 255 Mersey Tunnel Police Land Rover, he will be looking at your middle shelf with interest. Dave

Oh Adrian, and everyone else who has posted images of their displays, greetings! Here are three images of my 'display', comfortable ensconced on the carpet in our family room, taken while I had the place to myself, and then back into their boxes they went after the photography session had been completed before the family returned!! 24 24 These were taken on 6 July 2007, so add a further 494 to the collection since then! I will need a bigger floor space to photograph them now!!Yes, I am envious when I see Jan, Adrian's and others displays shown with pride throughout this Thread. However, one thing is for sure, my collection is not as comprehensive and detailed as others, especially Adrian's admirable display. Still, one thing I do have, and yet to be photographed in its entirety (missing from the above images) are my Dinky Toys from my younger days, all 80 plus of them, mostly with their original boxes. This will have to wait for another day.Kind regardsBruce (150) #550

Wonderful displays, of both of you. I wonder what you are still looking for ... soo many and various Dinky Toys! Perhaps you should ask higher parking fees in order to reduce parking densities.:) So, Bruce, I understand this is a very rare moment that you can view the collection or a mojor part of it, or do you take them more often in and out of the boxes like this? If not, I admire your disciplin not desiring to see them most of the time, and just know that they are there. Kind regards, Jan

What a wonderful display Adrian! You've done a great job there, such lovely boxes too! Chris Warr. PS, The Morestone / Budgie / Zebra AA bike combo is one of my all time favourites, no shame there mate

Bruce, Whahhhhh. On one of your pictures, I have spoted two cars, the Auto-Pilen 1542 Chrysler Simca 1308 GT. These seem to be very rare. My question is : are these two different, what is the variation except from a slightly different green ? Jacques.

Jacques You are indeed quite correct in that one is a slightly lighter shade of green than the other which is the only difference, but that also depends on the lighting conditions. I will dig them out and check to see if there are any other noticeable differences. Kind regards Bruce (150) #556

Bruce, While you have them out, could you please make some photos 3/4 front and rear ? I have the other Pilen models but not this one. When they were issued, Dinky Toys had vanished from the toy shops for about a year already and there was no information that Dinky Toys were back on the market. Unfortunately for six models only. Jacques.

In the past few days I have been able to make some progress with the working out of my initial try-out model for the NAMAC exhibition, as shown in this thread before. It is one of the four stages on which my Dinky models will be displayed next July. The other three will have this basic design: Kind regards, Jan

Richard---Well, you are certainly getting the most out of your display space! My shelves are also very crowded, and I have already added in all the extra shelves there is room for. Regards, Terry
