Jacques Thank you so much for posting so many very interesting photos of the Traction..... I got my first Dinky model of it around 1956 when I bought one off of a display where it was wired down. They were wonderful cars and nice to see so many variations of them...... thanks again.....I really enjoyed it!Terry

My Dinky for the day is the last Guy Truck I bought. I believe this color combination is the rarest of the Guy Flat Trucks. I have only seen one other on the website of Dinkyworld.Kind regards, Rob

Rob - Very nice for an extremely rare colour scheme. Last one I saw sold through Vectis was back in 2009. This one sold for a four figure sum with no pence! Bruce

Dinky of the day: 36e British Salmson Two-Seater Sports Car with Driver. It took me a long time to finally find one in good condition at Sandown Park Toyfair. I love the colour combination, so typical for pre war Dinky Toys. Kind regards, Rob

Rob This colour combination has always been my favourite, but as with the US schemes, has always been beyond the reach of my wallet! Bruce

Rob--I also like that particular color combo....I think it just looks great on the Chrysler, and that one also looks to be in very nice condition. Many of the ones I see listed seem to be pretty chipped up. Does anyone know if those two-tone versions were the very last of the 39 series produced? I don't remember every seeing a chronology of their production life....we know it was limited for sure. Terry
