Hello Jan, No, the driver is not fixed. It looks like a military driver and probably is a later addition. Kind regards, Rob

Which confirms my initial assumption, Rob. A very nice piece for completing a trade box's contents indeed! Kind regards, Jan

Hi all, For me the most difficult pre war 25 series model to find has been the flat truck. Some weeks ago I could buy two in a short timeframe. Both are fatigue free and complete with towing hook. On the picture they are as they arrived from 40 years storage after 30 years on a train lay-out. I am bending the rules slightly to post them in this thread, but they are still new for me! Kind regards, Rob

Rob----Those are both very nice. It is always fun to see the pre-war colors that were used, and in this case, the colorful frames and fenders, imstead of the post-war black. Lovely! Best regards, Terry

Richard----Very nice additions! You are on quite a roll recently.....well done. I have two new French Dinky's which should arrive by the end of the week. It is still fun to get those boxes in the mail & then unwrap the contents, seeing that new one for the first time. Best regards, Terry

Just arrived yesterday, two new French Dinky models......the Citroen 2cv van Postale and the Citroen Camionnette van Cibie. I have been on the lookout for the Cibie model for awhile, but passed on a few as they were either not quite right, or too expensive. So you can imagine my surprise when a US dealer had both, mint with boxes, and was open to an offer. He accepted my offer and then even included USPS Priority Mail, which got shipped cross country to me in 3 days. Here are just a few pictures.....I will post more under the proper topic listing later. Best regards, Terry

Wow, these are nice, Terry! Great additions. 'Fortunately' they are slightly outside my collecting profile. Kind regards, Jan

Jan----Yes, I know they are somewhat later models, but they also descend from earlier ones, particularly the Camionnette, which Dinky first made in 1954, so I made 'room' for them. At least it is traditional Dinky earlier Dinky, without windows and other new adds. But one does have to draw the line somewhere!Best regards, Terry
