Hi there. With regards to your Dinky 623 you have the wrong real world vehicle. You are showing a photograph of an Albion but the Dinky 623 Army Covered wagon is based on the Bedford QL, see below : The QL was developed during WWII and was replaced by the Bedford RL which is the Dinky 621 Dave

This is a fine example of how Meccano was playing with the scales: the DT model never existed at scale 1, because the Panhard tractor was much smaller than its Somua counterpart and unable to pull such a big tank trailer! But for us, kids, who would care? The visual result is so nice!!

Sorry again, but it is not the proper model year for the El Camino. The DT is based on a younger model.

Even the stance of the 4x4 chassis is spot on. The only thing they didn't do was the separate not flush headlamps, but that would have been too much to ask of the diemakers I presume. Chris Warr.
