The Dutch translation of the first edition is horrible, as you may have experienced too, a source for misunderstandings. This is the title you asked for, Jan: Jean-Michel Roulet, La lgende des Dinky Toys et Dinky Supertoys franais Meccano 1934-1981. Evreux : Editions Atlas, 2012. 527p., ill. in colour, 23 x 27 cm. ISBN 978-2-7312-4907-1 Note: Cover title slightly different from official title page title! Kind regards, Jan W.

Today I received this new book from Jean-Michel Roulet himself with a short letter from him. I am very happy with it. It is the latest edition and has much more information (527 pages) then the Dutch one (408 pages) and the pictures of models are in colour instead of black and white of the Dutch edition. Kind regards, Jan Oldenhuis 9-6-2017

Hi Jan, that is incredibly quick, a mere two days after I supplied you with the additional bibliographic details! Nice to have a personal note by Roulet included. Congratulations. Richard, your photo confirms that these later issues appear to have a brighter red finish than the early ones. Kind regards, Jan W
