Dave--Lovely seen...I really like the mix of Dinky Toys with model railroad pieces. That reminds me, I still have all of my American Flyer railroad sets from when I was a young boy, and I need to dig them out and try some mixing with my Dinky's. Nice display and thanks for showing! Terry

Hi Jacques This is not a mistake at all, they are 069 Dublo Dinky tractors and Blue with Grey plastic wheels is absolutely authentic. Dave

Sure they are authentic but the real Massey Harris were never blue, they were red with yellow wheels. Meccano should have known that.

Jan-- Did that display have some sort of guide down the center of each lane? It appear to show something, but can't really tell. That was some display and must have been very popular! Terry

Hi Terry, I found this annual report paragraph of the board of Meccano in the archives in Liverpool. It is of 1956, a very positive and optimistic year for the business, and is clear about the display. So it really existed and was a working presentation of Dinky Toys, attached by pins on a kind of circulating belt.
