Dinky Continental Tours were now on their way home. As evening approached, bad weather set in and the snow got deeper and deeper. Even the snow plough they were following was struggling. What was that strange shadow moving in the background? Eventually they were out of the deep snow, but the driver was more lost than ever. Everyone was starting to get hungry, but perhaps it wasn't such a good idea to eat all those cakes bought in Amsterdam...

Thank you Dave, I am absolutely delighted to see the leaflet of the Coles Crane. Can you show a bigger image of it? And can you please give me more informations about the real AEC-Coles thing?

I love those tankers - a beautiful picture of some beautiful old toys! Interesting angle - or are you trying to disguise the fact that they all have bashed-in fronts!

Since we are showing Foden's, here is a nice closeup of the cab of the second version. Closeups show some of the hidden detail that we often overlook.........Terry

And here is a closeup of the front, showing the intricate detailing behind the grill. The Foden's are truly diecast works of art!

Wonderful! I am always really impressed by the casting of the front bumper detail, and the fact that the actual radiator can be seen through the grille. Even the Shackleton which is huge compared to the Dinky didn't quite capture the real Foden as well. Chris Warr.
