Bruce--Wow...... what a sight! I have never seen that many Mighty Antars together at one time......it was good that they could be salvaged. Do you know when that was? Terry

Bruce, don't forget to check if water got into fuel tanks, before pushing the starter button... Jacques H.

Terry' Terry I have just heard from my friend who owned these Antars, and he told me that these were the last of 30 he bought through an auction here in Brisbane, all unboxed, as the boxes had become damaged through dampness. Apparently the flood might have been my imagination! He also bought 30 972 Coles Lorry Mounted Cranes, all with plastic hubs, again unboxed in the same condition as the 660s without boxes. He also bought about five other Dinky Supertoys but cannot recall what they were. So my friend went home that day, nearly 20 or more years ago with 65 Dinky Supertoys for a very reasonable sum. Makes one drool doesn't it?!! Bruce

Bruce, you bet my Dinkies are all stored well above sea level, although the street surface is below sea level! Kind regards, Jan

Jan I can well imagine that this would be the case! I can recall the bad floods The Netherlands experienced in 1953 and how badly that affected your country. Kind regards Bruce
