I love your pictures Jan! I particularly like your pavement picture - turning even a mundane item into an interesting display. These cardboard pavements were a great idea and even today I find mine useful when setting up simple diorama displays.

A busy racetrack scene. The race in progress with the BBC Television Outside Broadcast busy filming and some spectators. A much larger scene than this, and many more different scenes, will appear in a book I will be publishing on 1950s Dinky Toys towards the end of this year. I will have an ISBN number towards the end of September, it is because of the work on the book that I have been quiet on the forum recently - it is taking up a huge amount of my time. Dave

This is quite a rare item as it only came with the No 125 'Fun Ahoy' Gift Set. When the boat was sold on its own it never had the driver and lady passenger.

I hadn't seen that before Dave, very nice!! The passengers add a lot to it........... Terry
