Rob Where on earth are you finding these great variations? We all look forward to seeing the 'complete' set. (I used the word complete in inverted commas as with all things Dinky, there probably is never a complete set!! As for my little 818, I mentioned its condition in my last post. I should have added, 'never trust an auction house's description, even Vectis from whom I won mine several years ago, as it was given a very 'indifferent' grading, as if nobody really had a close look at it!' Incidentally, the little fellow arrived on my birthday, and with its very reasonable price, I guess it was a birthday present from you-know-who!! Bruce

Hi Bruce, Two weeks ago four different TK Tippers were sold on eBay. All in nice condition including this one. The box was described as 8/10, but actually is almost 10/10. The packing piece was not mentioned at all... I will post my five Tippers later. Kind regards, Rob

Dave Kaun and Al Keeling I think you will soon find that there is something radically wrong with this Topic. You will notice that it has the heading 425 Bedford TK Cal Wagon (1964-69). (I think the Cal should read Coal.) But what is interesting is that the Posts herein have nothing to do with the 425 Bedford TK Coal Wagon, but in fact refer to the 435 Bedford TK Tipper (1964-66) of which it appears does not have a topic of its own. Obviously Dinkycollect created the wrong heading when he proceeded to transfer these Posts on the old website without informing the appropriate author and these have subsequently been incorporated into the new website. The other interesting fact about this Topic is Post #2, authored by Dinkycollect. This post has my name at the bottom thus I am the actual author, so obviously this is yet another Post that has been inappropriately transferred. So far I have located including this one, six Posts of mine that now carry Dinkycollect as the author. These Posts also contain similar Posts authored by Dinkycollect, but are in fact from the pens of other members. I am still looking for another five outstanding Posts that were most likely transferred and now carry the authorship of someone else. Finally with Post #3 immediately above, Rob writes of his intentions to post pictures of his 435 Bedford TK Tippers, but the question is has he, and if so, where did they end up? This is mostly a question for David K, Bruce. I would recommend emailing him with these issues because there is no guarantee that he will be reading every forum post.Where comments are attributed to Jacques this is because, back in his day as forum admin, he cut those posts out of other threads and reposted them under his own account for reasons of forum structure. The limitations of you then being unable to edit your comment and not being identified as the author were largely due to the limitations of the old forum technology. There are probably dozens of cases of moved and reattributed posts - which I can't do anything about except on a one at a time basis. But I will try to unpick this thread through the database if you feel you need to update it now.

Al Thank you for correcting the title of this topic as well as tidying up Post #2. In regard to other members having their Posts changed or deleted, well that is a matter for them if they see it as a problem. No doubt Rob may open this Topic and provide an answer to my final question if it is still of interest. As you have sorted out my queries, I see no need to email Dave. Thank you again. Hello Rob Glad you read my previous post about what happened and I am glad that Al Keeling was able to restore all the posts in their original format. I and others look forward to seeing the images of those 435 Bedford TKs you have in your collection and judging on your many previous posts, I am sure we will learn something new as you seem to have the ability to track down obscure and noteworthy models!! Kind regards Bruce (150)0cm;line-height:10.9pt]20160420/904/1130
