Stephend A few guys are interested in box numbers.As a Hornby collector you must have some boxes with an A followed by threeor four digits.A 830 Hornby Series watchman ' s hut.A 1006 Hornby Series Signal Gantry No.1.A 1007 Hornby Series Junction Signal No.1 dist Could you please list those numbers with the catalogue number of the modelsand their name as on the boxand either post it hereor send it to me by email ? all items after1930 (exceptrails) were given code numbers.The list is hugeand I would need to get this by looking at many hundreds of items ! Is there a series in particular you are interested in ? Train sets TS401 + Locos L452 + Tenders TE501 + Coaches C551 + Open wagons W601 + Other rolling stock RS651 + Accessories (including Modelled Miniatures / Dinky Toys) A801 - later series A2001 + (unexplained gap between these 2 series) Modelled Miniatures re - numbered when they became Dinky Toys No.1 Signals also renumbered when the design changed in 1934 All of the above is fromVolume 5,

Ah they are wonderful,
I love all Dinkys (up to about 1964 anyway !) but the Pre War 28 Series are my favourites.Lovely pair you have there,
one day I will get a type 1,
