Jacques, I seem to remember that the manufacturing of the tinplate tank for the Fodens (and later Leyland Octopus) was done by a subcontractor too. Unfortunately I cannot find it immediately in my documentation, but it may be an indication where to search for this (if I'm right). Kind regards, Jan

Jan, Thank you for your help, I have checked the drawings of the tank parts job 12 823 to 26, none of them show the suppliers name. The drawings 12 821 'Tanker assembly' and / or 12 822 'Tank' may be where you have seen the name of the supplier. John may be able to help in this case, I know that he is working hard on the list of jobs 1 500 of which have been identified so far allowing to write the parts lists for some of the models.

Dave--On behalf of all of us members, thanks for all the work you have done on compiling that. It is quite a list, and as you stated, there have to be many more. This should be archived somewhere accessible on the site for future reference.Best regards, Terry
