Beautiful models, really shows what high quality the French Factory were producing in their prime, and the colour trial is a real winner! Chris Warr.

Richard-- I also really like the French Buick Roadmaster, and it has to be one of the nicest detailed Dinky's made in that era. You are right, that front grill, with all of the 'teeth' must have been a challenge for the diemakers. I was fortunate to buy my one and only Roadmaster new, directly from the French factory, around 1959. Another collector friend and I were young Dinky collectors, and knew there were French models, but thought that maybe there were some not imported to the US (we lived in S. Calif.) The French factory mailed us back a catalogue and invited us to order directly from them. This was one of my 'buys' at that time..........from what I understand, this Salmon color variation is a little hard to find.

And, since that time I got an another yellow/green model but with zamac wheels and yesterday it arrived an ivory/metallic blue version, with its box, both in very good condition, Kind regards Richard
