RAF Vehicles

Surprisingly very few RAF vehicles were produced by Dinky and Corgi in the 1950s and 60s. Here they are the Dinky 642 Pressure Refueller, the Corgi 351 Land Rover, the 350 Thunderbird Missile and the 352 Standard Vanguard Staff Car. Much has been written elsewhere about the roundel on the front of the Dinky Refueller, it is incorrect in as much as it is French and not the one used by the RAF. The roundel as shown on the Corgi Standard Vanguard is correct with the blue on the outside.

Was there a Dinky Refueller version with the correct RAF roundel? I've heard of this, but not seen one. Chris Warr.

Hi Chris Yes there were a few with the correct roundel. However, the vast majority have got the incorrect one fitted. Dave
