There have been a number of threads in the last few months referring to topics previously covered in significant depth in the DTCA Quarterly Journal, either during the editorship of John King or during my four years as the editor. All these journals are available on this site as PDFs and can be read by paid up DTCA members.Alternatively an awful lot of back issues can be purchased from the DTCA by members. For back issues contact Frank Davis on 01638 602362.I would urge all members to read these as they contain a huge amount of information from a lot of expert contributors to the Journal and this website.Dave

Dave-- That is a great idea, and I know I have browsed some of those prior issues on the site. A question, since there are so many older articles, is there any kind of index that one could scan over to see if a particular topic has already been covered? That would sure be handy and be much easier than hunting through them........... Terry

As the Journal editor I created an index of all the DTCA Journals, there is one in the Journal Archive of this website and covers issues from the first issue up to October 2010. I have an index that goes up to October 2012, which was the last Journal I produced. I will e-mail this to Dave Kaun for him to update this website. This up to date version is on an Excel spreadsheet if anyone wants a copy please contact me on earlsroad7@hotmail.com and I will happily send it out. I hope this helps. Dave

Dave--That is a great idea and an index makes it a lot easier to find articles. I agree, it is crazy to keep bringing up the same topics, when they have already been thoroughly discussed in earlier efforts. I will send an e-mail requesting the copy for myself....... Terry

There is also the Dinky Toys bibliography on this site, for members only, which I compiled with the help of some others. It is an even broader (but far from complete) index to other Dinky Toys articles and books. It is alphabetical only, but the search button can help a little bit. Unfortunately, because of the late Peter Golden's illness, I could not have it uploaded regularly as from February 2011. Maybe another opportunity will come in the future for me to resume and give it a more systematical structure. Kind regards, Jan

A kind email from Dave Kaun just gave me new spirit to resume compiling the Dinky-bibliography. As it happens, I am that busy professionally the rest of this year, that it will be as late as early next year to do so continuously and systematically. Nevertheless, new incidental proposals for additions remain very welcome. Kind regards, Jan
