Bob-- I have #161 Mobile Anti-Aircraft Unit, which was made only from 1939-1941, and came in a blue box. Below is a picture of the inside of the box, which is a kind of diorama/scene, to display the unit. Also is a picture of the descriptive legend on the outside of the box. Unfortunately, I do not have handy a photo of the whole box, but I think this is what you are referring to. I also believe that all of the gift sets that used the blue box were only made pre-war, but others may have better information. Regards,TerryMobile Anti-Aircraft Unit

Hi Bob, good to see you back here! The contents of the set boxes must always be pre-war. If they are not, the original contents will have gone, mostly crumbled by fatigue. I posted two (boxes of the) original sets in the documents archive:
www.dtcawebsite.org/dinky-documents/58-b...corps-light-tank-set
and:
www.dtcawebsite.org/dinky-documents/58-b...ti-aircraft-unit-box
Another one of mine is this one, which I bought as a bargain, because the contents was in small pieces, and I replaced it by a post-war Field Gun Unit that was loose in my collection already:
So: Original contents must always be pre-war, if not, items have been replaced! Kind regards, Jan
