Hi Erwan, these are beautiful and scarce items indeed! I am not familiar with these older series, but it's only now that it strikes me that the drivers' lower arms/hands are hand painted in the same colour as the steering wheel/body of the vehicle. I wonder why, and I wonder if this is the quite interesting 'something' that you're aiming at. Kind regards, Jan

Congratulations Jan !!! You pointed it, the gloves and scarf (when it's painted) are always from the same colour as the body. It helps to see if the driver has been lost and replaced or if it's a forgery. All genuine copies that I have seen were painted on this scheme.
