Another fantastic pre-war model from the Series 24. First type body with 12 louvres, an unfatigued 100% british model ;)

Hi Erwan, such a beauty! Extremely hard to find in a condition like this - and with the earliest 'Tootsietoy hubs'. The quality of both the pictures and the models themselves are unequalled and much appreciated. They are a welcome addition to the model documentation on the forum. If possible you might add some more background information. It must have been a painstaking job to collect these almost pristine items. Wonderful, please, continue! Kind regards, Jan

Erwin....just fantastic, and it such wonderful condition! What year do these date from....am guessing around 1935 or so. And yes, please elaborate some more on this wonderful 24 series....most of us have never seen one and know little of them. Best regards, Terry

Thanks all of you, I'm currently working on an extensive article about the Series 24 and I'm in the last laps, as usual the hardest are begining and ending of the series as there's so few informations. For this very model, yes it's a 1935/36 copy (it seems that the blue hubs were also fitted at the same period and deleted in the same time for the benefit of the black ones). It has 1st type grille and body and hubs finished in silver plating and already the second type chassis. it's a quiet common variant but of course scarce in this kind of condition.
