And this is the 1978 Trade Catalogue, with the Jaguar in green and then it quickly changes to blue for the Gift Set on page 13! No wonder the model never made it into production - everyone was confused. Dave - have sent you a message through DTCA - I have received my copy, have you received yours? Looks better in green, Bruce. See how the interior goes from black to white to black again depending on which catalogue or page you're on. The boot of the green jag has a couple of circular vent features that are not evident on the other versions. They are not on my white cat either.

Oh and look, Purdey's TR7 got some new stickers with her name on the bonnet... which they've spelt wrong, without an e. Wow, they really couldn't care less at this point.

There is now, Dave. Let us count the ways. On every post, see the links on the righthand side of each user pane. There is a link for Send Email (a standard email message). Also Send PM (private message). Also at the bottom of each post Send author a message. You will get an email notification about private messages which you can read through the User Menu in the left margin column. You should be able to reply and delete any private messages collected in your User Menu panel. The Send PM link is also shown on your User Profile page.

It is active Dave... but I only just installed it. There cannot be any private messages sent to you before a quarter of an hour ago. Bruce probably just sent you an email.Click on any of the Send PM links shown against other users to start private messaging. Enjoy

Hello Dave There has been a messaging link on this website for at least two weeks or more. In the top right hand corner as per your last message, there is a link 'Send Email'. As you were having problems contacting me, I just clicked on that link, a new page opened and I was able to type a message to you, and off it went as dtcawebsite.com has our email addresses. As I checked the box for a copy to come to me, it did so within a minute or so. Try it. Go to a Post I have made and try it out. Bruce0cm;line-height:10.9pt](150)20160303/816/1506

From the Parodi collection, this is one of (reportedly) two resin versions of the Steed Jaguar that were displayed at toy shows. The labels on the bottom come from the period, and indicate what the price of the toy would have been in Italy. In addition to what appears in this thread, there is more information on the Jaguar on Planet Diecast , again with useful information from Al Keeling.
