The 38 series included some absolutely classic Dinky Toys, I currently only own the Frazer Nash, The Jaguar SS100 and the Lagonda. I am working on the others right now, hopefully everyone here will get involved with this thread.I will kick it of with my recently acquired 38a Frazer Nash BMW. It was based on the Frazer Nash BMW 328 which was produced from 1936 to 1941 with Dinky introducing their first version in 1940.

Fatigued 38a Frazer Nash BMW. The early base plate of the Frazer Nash and probably other models issued in 1939 - 40 were silver. Is this paint or an electrolysis finish ?
