Nice to see the one with plastic hubs. The box seems quite correct to me. I included your picture in my image documentation, Ron, if you don't mind. Was this plagiarism by Micro Models or did they have a kind of deal with Meccano? I'll add another example of a 'look-alike' below, also from a different die, but from the same basic company. It is the early French 25G (in front), which deviates in tiny details only from the early British one. The cast-in text below is the most obvious difference. Kind regards, Jan

Hi Ron, a nice demonstration that the 'T' survived all the time indeed, the last issue with plastic wheels included. However, it is not present on the French 25G (and the post-1953/54 issues of the 428 Large Trailer). Thanks for showing, kind regards, Jan

Hi Jacques, welcome back! Happy to 'see' you again. You may remember I bought this French trailer from you, five years ago, in Coventry. Yes, one may not expect such a sign on the French one, still, a remarkable exception among the many Small Trailer variations. Wishing you a quick further recovery, kind regards, Jan

Jacques....I will also add my sincere welcome back and so good to from you again! I have an English made small trailer that has no T on the back. It is the green color. Best regards, Terry

Terry, all my six (British) Small Trailers do have the 'T'. Could your example without this sign be an adjusted exception for the US market (like the Petrol Tank Wagon without 'PETROL' and the Horse Box without the BR logo etc.)? Kind regards, Jan

Jan--- Sorry I could not reply sooner.....our extended family is leaving today, so I will get back to normal activity soon! Regarding the 'T'......you may well be right about it not appearing on the export trailers, such as to the US. This is the second green one I have had over the years, and neither one had the T. In fact, when I got that orange trailer a few years back, it was the first one I ever saw with it, and I was guessing then that it was only on the older versions. Another interesting Dinky anomaly or mystery!Best regards, Terry
